Bourg Saint-Maurice

Originally developing as a distinct village outside the primary medieval walls around the Church of Saint-Maurice, this micro-neighborhood bridges the gap between the upper cliffs and the river. It features steeply sloping medieval lanes (known locally as 'tertres') and beautifully restored timbered facades.
